30 days of inspiration....create this daily photo journal to fill during the days of September.
each day with camera and journal in hand, find one thing that inspires you. could be a unique color combination you see out and about, an interesting billboard design that would translate wonderfully on a layout, a scene in nature, a smile, a building...anything that could inspire you in some, any way!!
take a photo of the inspiration and journal a bit about it. do this everyday. at the end of the month you will have an amazing keepsake and resource for inspiration galore!!

this journal keepsake uses the same daily photo/journaling concept as the inspiration journal except we'll take photos of things that make us happy, make us smile, make life wonderful!

an abundance of goodness

The UPS man has been very good to us this week. We have fun new goodies from Tim Holtz, 7 gypsies, Archipelago and Heidi Grace! These candles from Archipelago are absolutely fabulous. We have plenty of wonderful scents for you to choose from. Come find your favorite new scent or ask us about ours, because we are in love with Archipelago.





Tim Holtz has done it again with his Philosophy Tags, Muse Tokens, Word Keys and Trinket Pins. They are super cute, fun to work with and flying out the door already.





What else can we say about 7 gypsies? They keep adding to their already fabulous line and we just can't get enough! Now you can add pre-cut pockets and chipboard pieces to your ATC Spinner! So fun! And for the big 4x6 Spinner we have new color transparencies, Calendar Cards, pockets, and 97% complete pages. The ATC punches are back in stock as well.

we are soooo excited!
everyone has been computer geeked out around here lately, slaving over the keyboard to get our super fabulous online boutique up and running.

For years so many folks have asked us if our unique items, class projects and store samples could be purchased online and now (yippee) we have the means!
We are even working on getting our monthly classes up so you can sign up and pay for upcoming classes at 4 in the morning in your pj's!! woohooo!
















we have also put together an incredibly magnificent monthly paper crafting kit (another much requested offering). Just like our favorite workshop projects and store samples each kit has been hand selected by our crack staff of amazing & talented scrap/paper artists. All the guesswork has been done...easy breezy, yet chock full of creative possibility.
each kit will include a patterned paper line with 2 of each of the selected patterns for the month along with coordinating cardstock (also 2 of each!), ribbon, embellishments galore, a matching alpha set and any other neato knick knacks to send our kits over the top!!

each monthly kit will cost $29.95 BUT will actually consist of a selection of products valued at over $40!! (what a deal!) please take a look at our teaser kits...this will provide a sampling of what's to come!!

august workshop dates and descriptions

8/2- 11:30 to 1:30 . . .“lets get cookin” three cooking/recipe inspired pieces for your kitchen or gift giving needs. We’ll whip up a super-cute recipe box, a quick and easy recipe card holder and a matching adaptable recipe booklet. Cost for this workshop is $30.00.

8/2- 2:00 to 4:00 . . . “Our Home” chipboard books . . . a fun, layered chipboard book decorated to match your home perfectly! Commemorate the big move, a new home, first home or magnificent remodel. Cost for this workshop is $25.00.

8/9- 11:30 to 1:30. . . .clear view books (an arts & scraps exclusive!!) an all-time favorite this clever clear scrapbook foundation offers a multitude of design possibilities to feature your favorite photos and memorabilia! Create in class to add your photos later. This months offering features the bright and cheery Cosmo Cricket line “hello sunshine!” we’ve also added a “kick” to our clear view books… a new shape and added layers! Cost for this workshop is $40.00 (this price includes a $20.00 clear-view album!!)

8/9- 2:00 to 4:00 . . . heidi swapp jumbo card quote book. . . . the requests just keep coming in for this one! We’ll use the Heidi Swapp jumbo cards, incorporate our pattern papers and embellishments to duplicate our Creative Escape quote book. Drop in the store or visit our blog to view our sample. Cost for this workshop is $30.00

8/16- 11:30 to 1:30 . . . hanging décor frame. . . create this 3 piece hanging frame using general scrapbook supplies we all have on hand. This project is a great way to use favorite lines and much loved designs because you get to hang it up and view it everyday! This project makes for fabulous gifts as well! Get started now and be ready early for dec. 25!! Cost for this workshop is $25.00. Please bring 3 (4x6) photos you would like to frame.

8/16- 2:00 to 4:00 . . . star books. . . Learn how to craft these unique books (it’s easier thatn you may think!). We will offer 3 selections; patriotic, sports or birthday. This project allows you to showcase and display photos in a very clever and creative 3 dimensional book. We’ll teach basic sew binding and clever folding for this creation. Cost for this workshop is $30.00. Please bring a basic kit which includes the following; bone folder, 2 large eye sewing needles, ATG gun (if available).

8/23- 11:30 to 1:30 . . .perpetual flip calendars. . . a classic! This project is one of our most requested pieces! Join us as we craft this super useful, totally adaptable, perpetual calendar. You choose your own papers and colors to match your home, office or make as a one-of-a-kind gift. Cost for this workshop is $25.00.

8/23- 2:30 to 5:00. . . soldering part deux . . . join us as we craft soldered projects beyond the basics. We’ll solder not just glass pieces but various found objects. We’ll work with wire, wings and whimsy! Prerequisite: our simply soldered class or previous soldering cost for this workshop is $30.00. Please bring collage pieces and small photos to work with.

so our new digs still smell like fresh paint and new carpet.
a great smell (don't get us wrong) however we are due for a change!

to remedy that lingering new store aroma (and to satisfy our own selfish candle jones) we have a few fabulous yummy yummy candle lines on the way!!

scents from fruity to spicy to herbal to warm! oh we just can't wait!

a fantastic and local nw soy candle company. They too offer fresh, take me away scents.
