black & white and (a splash of) red all over altered book

Time: 2:30pm - 5:30pm
Description: the word "altered" has taken on a whole new life in the paper crafting world. it has completely morphed to cover a multitude of art media. well we are bringing back the original!! a "true" altered book is just that...an altered book! we will stat with a classic vintage book and turn it into a piece of art! we will share a variety of altering techniques to get you well on your way to complete your altered book over time. this time around we will be incorporating a black & white (cream) theme with splashes of red!
basic paper art experience required.

Description: a gypsy style junque journal perfect for a beach escape keepsake. lots of room for photos and journaling, yet small enough to get it done. lots of texture & layering add cool interest and dimension to this treasure.

Description: metal art meets paper art as we craft this sweet little copper beauty. we'll dapple in the art of metal patinas, junk function art and just a bit of paper too. a fun, fast paced mixed media workshop.

This fee will be applied to the class fee paid the day of class.
