7/11-11:30 to 1:30...not so shabby vintage frames...your requests are delivered! So many have asked us to make them one of the wire frames that we just couldn't keep up with the demand...so how about learning how to make one yourself!?! We'll use a vintage frame; sand, paint and shabby it up real good then attach wire, hooks and more for a fabulously unique home display piece. Cost for this workshop: $40.00 (due to the nature of our found vintage frames, frame size and design will vary).
7/11- 2:30 to 4:30 . . . a home grown cookbook … join us in constructing your own "Home Grown" cookbook using 2 canvas covers and board pages. We will craft 6 pages that serve multi purpose qualities…clips and rings for all kinds of things and pockets to hold loose leaf recipes. You will also learn how to incorporate unique objects into the cover of this book (hint: chicken wire!) into the negative space of the canvas. We will use the new Jenni Bowlin paper line for a vintage look cookbook complete with a fork for a handle! Cost for this workshop: $45.00.
7/18-2:30 to 5:30...Take 20...a creative photo discovery portfolio...craft a portfolio specifically for your photography experiences and experiments. You will have a concise journal documenting 20 photo styles, techniques and trials. With space for photos and journaling along with a descriptive discovery list and titles of photo techniques to try and discover. We'll also provide online ideas and suggestions throughout the month of July to inspire and encourage your photography journey. So whether you're a photo pro, just a beginner or have always wanted to try that shot, this class is for you! This photo portfolio makes a great reference book, a show and tell or personal artistic keepsake. Cost for this workshop is $35.00.
**please note: CLASS POLICY- pre-registration is required. A pre-paid/non-refundable registration fee of $10.00 per class is required upon sign-up. This fee will be applied to the class fee paid the day of class. If for any reason arts & scraps must cancel a workshop this registration fee will be reimbursed.**all supplies are provided however a mini-class kit of your own may come in handy as many of our provided supplies are shared amongst the entire class. Suggested supplies to bring: your favorite adhesive, bone folder, paper trimmer, scissors, ink pads.
